Replaced rotting window sills for this Navy Vet

Assist: Navy Veteran

Royal is an amputee. He had fallen into a few windows breaking the glass. In addition, there were several rotting window sills and leaking windows which currently had plastic and tape over them to stop the air infiltration.

Hammers for Veterans worked with the New Hampshire Home Builders Association members to replace the windows and trim and also make the necessary repairs to install the new windows. The windows were discounted by Pella Windows and the installation of the windows and trim was completed by Alex Reid of Reid Building Services and Mike Doyon of Mike Doyon Construction. The Veteran and his wife were very pleased with the upgrade to their windows keeping them warm during the winter. All the expenses were paid by Hammers for Veterans with contribution from Veterans Count for $650.
